Donna and I have been friends for most of our lives, and I knew photographing her engagements and bridals would be so much fun. I hadn’t seen her in her dress in person yet, so it was so exciting to help her into her dress (pretty much in the middle of nowhere in the parking lot 😉 ), for the first time. Every part of her look was exactly her style, and it was so different to photograph someone that I had known for so long. She didn’t mind hiking around in her dress and she completely trusted Thad and I to try anything we wanted.
She knew she wanted to travel somewhere exciting for her bridal session, and after lots of brainstorming and research, we decided to check out Kisatchie National Forest. Neither of us had been there so we knew it was a total gamble to drive out to the lookout point with idea what it would look like. Luckily this place did not disappoint.
